Production and Field Engineer – Robotics (m/f/d)

The Role

We’re looking for a motivated Production and Field Engineer – Robotics (m/f/d) to join our Engineering strategies. In your day to day work, you’ll focus on streamlining the preparation of robotic platforms for both production and field deployments, ensuring system setup, firmware flashing, and comprehensive testing are executed to meet high quality standards. This role offers you the opportunity to contribute to various projects while working within a dynamic, international team. ​

Your Profile

To join our team, you should be excited to 

• Prepare robotic platforms for both production and field deployment – including system setup, radio integration, and configuring embedded components.

• Flash firmware, apply system configurations, and verify the functionality of controllers, sensors, and actuators.

• Support sensor calibration and motor control testing to ensure accurate performance in all conditions.

• Set up, test, and troubleshoot wireless communication systems (e.g., radios, mesh networks) and protocols (CAN, Ethernet, serial interfaces).

• Assist in on-site technical support during field deployments, pilot programs, and customer demonstrations.

• Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and testing teams to address integration challenges.

• Document setup procedures, configuration standards, and maintenance protocols to streamline production and deployment workflows.

• Ensure each system meets internal quality and reliability standards before final delivery.
