Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are not allowed in connection with your use of dronelist Services. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.

We may modify this AUP at any time by posting a revised version on our website. By using the Services after a revised AUP has been posted, you agree to the revised AUP.

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please notify us immediately at team@dronelist.io. We will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include removing content, suspending accounts, or terminating access.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services to:

Illegal or Harmful Activities

• Violate any applicable law or regulation, including aviation regulations, data protection laws, export control laws, or sanctions
• Facilitate or promote illegal activities, fraud, or deception
• Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Engage in phishing, social engineering, or any form of identity theft

Aviation Safety Misuse

• Represent dronelist data (weather, airspace, go/no-go assessments) as official aviation briefings, certified flight information, or regulatory authorizations
• Use the Services as a substitute for officially mandated pre-flight information sources (e.g., official NOTAMs, certified meteorological services, airspace management authorities)
• Provide or redistribute dronelist data to third parties as if it were certified aviation information
• Use the Services to circumvent or avoid aviation safety regulations or required authorizations

System Abuse

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or computer systems or networks connected to the Services
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services without express written authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services, servers, or networks
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Services beyond what is permitted through our API
• Bypass any rate limiting, access controls, or usage restrictions

Content Restrictions

• Upload, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Upload content containing personal data of third parties without proper legal basis or consent
• Use the Services to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam)

Data Misuse

• Use the Services to collect, harvest, or aggregate personal data about other users without their consent
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract data from the Services beyond what is provided through normal use or the API
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Services or data obtained through the Services without express written permission
• Use data obtained through the Services to build a competing product or service

Consequences

Violation of this AUP may result in:

• Removal of offending content
• Temporary suspension of your account
• Permanent termination of your account
• Reporting to relevant authorities where required by law

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, except where the violation poses an immediate risk to the safety, security, or integrity of the Services or other users.
