Companies
A company is a client you work with, or hope to. Every person, opportunity, and logged call ties back to one.Creating a company
Open Companies and click New. The fields worth filling in:
As you type the name, dronelist may offer a match from its places data. Picking one fills only empty website, phone, email, and address fields. It never overwrites what you typed.
Statuses
The company page
The left panel holds the short facts — status, priority, website, email, phone, industry, lead source, address. Every field edits in place and saves as you go. Match business next to Client Details runs the same places lookup. Confirm a match and it fills empty fields only; the name stays as you wrote it. If another company already owns that website or place, you get a conflict rather than a duplicate. The right side has six tabs:- About — what the client does, what there is to fly, and why they are worth contacting now. Your notes live here, along with anything research found and, on Pro, what you have earned from them
- Insights — every research and meeting-prep run for this client, newest first. Nothing is overwritten
- Opportunities — the work you are chasing with them
- Contacts — the people you deal with there
- Emails — email history from your connected mailbox
- Activity — every call, email, meeting, and note
What there is to fly is the field worth filling in. It tells you whether a client is one job
or a dozen a year — how many roofs, sites, or listings they have, and how often they need them
documented.
Letting research fill the About fields
Run Research client from the AI menu at the top of the page. When it finds something for one of the three About fields, the suggestion appears under that field with a Use this button. Take the ones you want, one at a time, and edit them afterwards like any other field. Two things it will never do:- It never overwrites a field you have already filled in. The suggestion only shows while the field is still empty.
- Accepting one suggestion changes only that field. It does not quietly fill the website, phone, or address at the same time.
What a client has paid you
On Pro, the About tab shows what this client has earned you, worked out from their accepted proposals and the hours you recorded against them. It appears once there is something to show. This is the same arithmetic as everywhere else in the app — see Pricing.Logging what happened
Click Log interaction in the top bar. Pick the type, write what happened, and set the date it happened on — not the date you are typing it.
A Follow-up with a date appears on Home when it comes due.
An interaction logged on a person also appears on their company’s timeline, so the company view stays complete without you filing everything twice.
Tips
Use priority to decide where the week goes

High, Medium, Low. Three levels is enough to sort a morning by.
Record the lead source every time
Record the lead source every time
After twenty clients, this is the only honest answer to “where does my work actually come from”.
Log the call while it is fresh

A note written the same hour is worth five written from memory a week later.
